This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
Stove top kettle, Schlieren image. Steam and hot air rising from a stove top kettle as it boils. Turbulent thermal plumes are created because the density of the hot air in and around the kettle is less than that of the surrounding cool air. Schlieren photography provides a way of visualising density changes in transparent fluids. Light passing through a density change is refracted (bent). The imaging technique alters the brightness and colour of this refracted light to highlight these areas.
